Well guys it's finished, hope you like the photos, yuppietastic! Pretty happy with the execution on this one, a few small mistakes (number plate decal!! Grrrrr!! ) but not too bad overall, lessons learnt every time.

Finished in Tamiya X33 with Pro-Range 2K and Ultimate Polish

Dig the color you chose for it too, love it and don't see this very often.

The only Porsche I ever drove was ages ago, a 928S that was pretty much that gold color you chose, really dig your model, man!

Thanks Barry! Appreciate it! I’m happy with how the finish turned out but now I’m not so convinced I chose the right colour for it, it looks more like an old man GT cruiser rather than an unhinged aggressive 200mph supercar! I think red or white would’ve been a better choice, but the F40 is going to be red and I had it in my mind all along that I would photograph the two together so I didn’t want to paint the 959 red too. Maybe I will build another one one day in white, it’s such a cheap kit to buy and is a lot of fun to put together, I’d recommend it to anyone
