Lucky Models Record Delivery

Post by latkin »

I have purchased a few things off and on from Lucky Models and their delivery hasn't been what you would say quick .However I made an order on 2/10/13, they sent an email that it had been posted on 3/10/13 and this morning being 9/10/13 the parcel arrived by courier at 8 am. Just on 7 days from purchase to delivery, and not only that the model was bubble wraped and the 2 mig washes also bubble wrapped inside a box filled with polystyrene peanuts. They have had a bit of flak in the past about packaging and speed of delivery. Maybe they have finally listened. Can't fault that kind of service.

Where was it delivered too if you don't mind me asking? UK? US? Canada? Somewhere else?

Sounds good though!

I've never had a problem with a luckymodel order before.
If they have it in stock I usually can get it to my hands in 10 days at the most.

The only trouble that I've ever had with them is trying to get them to read and follow my instructions in the comments for the order.
I always tell them, not to use packing peanuts or bubble wrap with my orders (I hate that crap). To please use paper. They never do.

Only used Lucky Models once, but had a very good experience with them. I ordered 4 items, but 1 item was out of stock - after waiting a couple of days they shipped the first 3 and then asked me if I wanted to substitute the 4th item as they were unsure as to when it would be re-stocked. I swapped it for another item and they have now shipped this at no additional cost. First delivery got to me well within 10 days, so very happy with them. wouldn't hesitate using them again.

the order came to New Zealand. Its funny how some people have good experiences with Lucky Models and others don't. In the last 3 months I have ordered a number of items and all orders have arrived fairly quickly. I don't mind peanuts to much until I drop the box thens its peanuts from A to breakfast and then I don't like them. Plus of course theres the decidedly environmentaly unfriendly aspect to them.
