Airfix 1/72 Fokker E.II Eindecker

Post by Kratilim »

I've finished the Fokker Eindecker I was working on with the remaining decals and some weathering. This being my first build in 20 years it came out quite good despite my natural challenges. Certain things I want to do differently on the next build like sanding ugly the top seam. But I'm quite happy with the results overall. Pictures aren't great as my camera can't compensate for my trembling hands, but they get the point across. I'd also love to do the rigging in the future, but I think that's a bit too advanced still, so I'll pick that up later (if at all).

Thanks for taking a look! Any advice/feedback given is welcome!

Nice work. Lovely little kit and great colours.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Thanks! WW1 kits aren't really my go-to. But I do have a preference for WW1 and WW2 aircraft. But anything up until the cold war or so is good. I'm also interested in building some other subjects like military vehicles/ship and even a sailing ship or two. Nothing too modern though, or any normal cars for that matter. At the moment I'm starting a Boulton Paul Defiant 1/72.

Super result. I’ve been at it 20 years and don’t produce work of that quality.

Well done.

Lovey build - especially well done in 1/72 given the potential for fiddlyness!

And belated welcome to the forum too - looking forward to seeing more of your work :cheers2:
