Tamiya 1/24 Jaguar XJR-9LM

This ones done, went together well for a kit of its age but two things to look out for there are no A pillars on the car this makes getting the glass to fit is a pain but it is possible with patience. The other is the fit of the rear body to the chassis not brilliant but it fits after a fashion. Would I build it again yes but slightly differently to the way I built this one.

Paints used- Zero Jaguar set, various acrylics and Molatow chrome used on the fuel vortex's.

Hi Dan, this week I finished my 1/24 Tamiya Peugeot 206 WRC. Great little kit, goes together well and loads of detail built out the box. Only slight niggle are the decals being pretty thick in places and my tyre decals disintegrated.

Ultimate Primers.
Tamiya LP 70 Gloss Aluminium for the body
Tamiya LP paints elsewhere.
Ultimate Decal solutions.
Tamiya Panel line accent black.
Gravity Spain 2K.
Micro mesh.
Ultimate polishing system.
Ultimate Apex used throughout.

Have a great show and hope you're all well 👍

Good evening happy modellers!

Tonight we have a 1/144 F-RSIN resin deHavilland DH-91 pre-war airliner. It was made straight out of the box with the addition of some scratch built exhausts under the engines (that you can’t see here). I experimented with Xtreme Metal Aluminum, which is okay, but I prefer the Tamiya rattle can lacquers.
(Little Isolde decided to inspect this model as I was taking the photo).

I have continued to work on the Industria Mechanika 1/35 Steam Car.

Coachwork colour is Tamiya LP-42 Mica Red, Tamiya LP-1 Black Gloss used for the chassis and Mr Metal Color Copper for the boiler.

I also started working on the base. I cut a piece of Cherry wood, chamfered the edges and recessed the top (using a router) to drop in a Miniart street section.
I can now more easily visualise how I want the final display to appear and think the base needs something like a street lamp to add more visual interest.

Thanks for looking and stay safe everyone :th:

Working on the 1/12 Tamiya Ducati D'Antin Pramac MotoGP bike

Tamiya acryllics and first time using TS spray that's been decanted.
Also have used Alclad paints on this one for the first time - learning and enjoying it so far.
Engine in the frame and body pieces painted up - gonna do the handle bars and decals next.
Still a long way to go, but taking my time.
Happy Friday doods! :cheers2:

Not my best build, but I wanted to represent the forum with my Fujimi 1:24 BMW Z4 GT3. Primed in Stnylrez gray and painted with Tamiya LP Semi-Gloss Black. The aftermarket decals (nightmare) are from Vector Magic. I used Testors Dull Cote as clear.
