1/72 Challenger 2 KFOR Trumpeter

Hi guys,

my first kit since a long time and the first time modelling in this scale with an airbrush and post-shading. Pretty happy with the result for just messing around with new methods, but next time the result looks hopefully a little better.
I hope those mobile phone pictures are ok!

Little Chally factoid that's quite amusing: There are 2 Chally-1's in private hands in the UK and I know one of the guys who had - or possibly had now, not seen him for a while - one of them. The last time I saw him he recounted the tale of how he had the Chally-1 delivered to his yard in Kent and started to play with it. He and his crew spent all day in and out of the turret but they could not find the traverse or elevation controls. Had great fun driving it though... Come late afternoon his 12 year old son comes home from school and of course it was a case of "Wow dad - can I get in?". Parental permission being granted the lad climbed into the turret and a few minutes later the turret starts traversing and the barrel elevating. A suitably shocked parent killed the power and jumped up on the turret to find out what was going on. Turned out the gunnery controls were in the form of a control pad akin to an XBox and the lad, being an avid on-line gamer, had gravitated straight to it.
