Hello everyone. Just finished my 1/32 Trumpeter Mig-29 SMT. It was a fantastic kit to work with. I used small magnets to attach the pylons, so they can be easily removed or weapons changed.

It was painted using MRP paints for the SMT green-grey camo and then neat 502 oils for the weathering.

Been continuing with the Tamiya Yamaha YZR-M1 '04.

Using LP paints and Alclad metals. I've got the Top Studio super detail set and it is testing me, but I'm learning on the way! The Model Factory Hiro chain set is on, though had to be taken off once or twice to get right.

Hope you've had a great week and have a great weekend coming up!

Work has continued on this 1/35 Mirror Models CMP truck. Most of it is now assembled and dry-fitted here. Only the front bumper still to do - for which they inexplicably don't provide the required 1mm rod...why?! I'm thinking I'll cut the ends off a sewing needle and use that if it's long enough.

Lotta messing about this week with the Tomcat. (1/48, Academy, F-14A). Several paint attempts for the underside. Several wrong paints used, accidentally brushed on enamel at one point, then a gloss light grey, had to walk away for a day or two. Possibly rectified last night. Anyway, progress, of some description.

Wingnut Wings the 'Duelists' Felixstowe [early] and Hansa-Brandenburg.

Nothing to say about these kits really as they will be sorely missed by many as for this kit both built well. I left the nose to wing rigging on the felix off as the aircraft will be going into a display with the removable outer wings store somewhere safe.

Tamiya LP's along with Tamiya Vallejo acrylics used on the build along with some Liquid water colors and weathering pens.

Evening young Dan (drop off the four-pack on your way out :) )

This week I finished off my Italeri 1/72 Opel Blitz from 1974.

It went together reasonably well considering its age and was primed in Ultimate black, followed by a couple of coats of Vallejo Model Air Dark Yellow with the cargo picked out by brush in various shades of field grey & wood. Basic weathering has been done with Tamiya panel line washes, AK chipping pencils & Ultimate Light Dirt.

I know Tim wasn't happy about the way the cargo had been loaded but the usual lads were on their tea break :)

Stay safe & well everyone.

Good evening happy modellers

This evening here’s another Revell 1/144 Airbus A.320, this time in the livery of the ex-French airline Air Inter. As before, the white is Tamiya Pure White, the grey is my own Airbus Grey and there are several metallic finishes, all decanted Tamiya rattle cans. The decals are by 8S.

I finally finished off the OT-90 I started building years ago! :)
Basic kit is the Italeri BMP-1 and the resin conversion parts are from the earlier version of the PanzerShop kit that did not have any PE in it. Later ones (now discontinued) had a more detailed KVPT and PE for the engine decking etc.
Kit was painted in Model Color's "Russian 4BO Green", given a coat of gloss varnish from a Humbrol aerosol before applying the decals.
Decals are a mixture as the Czech markings in the kit erroneously had the roundel on the turret so it was too big for the correct placement and were missing the thin outer blue circle. So I sourced the roundels from Mark One Decals - they are actually the smallest in their 1/144 Aviation set. The numbers are dry transfer and come from Amazon. Once they were on the vehicle was given a coat of semi-matt varnish, also Humbrol aerosol.
The markings represent the real OT-90 I used to own.
