Wasteland lancer's bike

Post by Panzón »

I purchased AMTs double dirt bikes parts pack because it was the only 1/25 scale motorcycle kit I could find, and I wanted to build a wasteland bike in the same scale as my cars. This pack comes with two identical dirt bike kits, each comprised of 13 surprisingly detailed parts. Unfortunately, parts fit was quite poor, but with a little patience and perseverance, and a few modifications to the way the bike was assembled, I managed to put together an acceptable bike. Once I had a workable bike, I modified the exhaust pipe, added control cables and a "leather" seat cover, and built a rack to hold the scratch-built lances and skull totem. The bike is painted with acrylics, and weathered with various washes and dry pigments.
