Hi all,
this is my latest acquisition that may actually get used and doesn't cost a arm and a leg.







$20aud and as you can see it clamps a reasonable size kit. Bit tricky to clamp up. You have to retract the spring loaded end and then release once it's close. Seems to be best without the legs at this point.

Are the clamps fixed? - or can you rotate them like a car rotisseries to access any part?? Got to admit - I REALLY like that - cracking good find!!!

yes the clamping pads can be rotated. One clamping end is spring loaded so it keeps the pressure on and everything has it's own locking bolt so nothing moves once set.

Just one little update to this. The jaws do need something soft for protection as I found out. I actually thought they were made of a semi hard rubber/plastic, but in fact are aluminum alloy.

For $20 it isn't worth it unless you want another project.
