Moebius Ford F100 XLT 1/25 reveal

Post by Bdiddy »

This one is done and dusted, used Gravity Colors Porsche Acid Green & Ford Diamond White along with Tamiya LP's, Alclad Chrome and Bare Metal Foil. Steelies are Pegasus. Was going to use a billet steering wheel and steering column but my Detail Master order has taken to long and I wanted to get this finished so I ended up using the stock parts.
Was also lowered and a custom exhaust added.

Love it dude!! Engine bay is fantastic - got the distributor and radiator hoses and all.
Being in Oklahoma I actually still see a lot of these trucks around.

Looks to be around a '73 or '74 - great work man!! :thumb1:
btw, I've seen one almost like the one you've done, kid lives in Coweta, OK - his is more Lime Green (almost like Kawasaki green) and White, but painted the exact same way.

Barry we rarely see this pickups in Australia but kind you there is one at a building site near my place but it’s a bomb, disappointing to see it in such poor condition, you were close but it’s a 71.
Next time you see the pickup try & snap a pic, id love to see it!

Thanks Mike & Scott!
There’s some things I’m not happy with & it’s far from perfect but having only been modeling for less than a year I can live with it. Just need to keep practicing & I’ll get better
