Tamiya Honda CBR1000RR-R Repsol livery -1/12 reveal!

[LWWales]

Hi guys! This build is my entry to the Rising Sun group build on Facebook.

I decided to video build it on my new YouTube channel. For those who want to see the videos, you can go here: YouTube.com/c/ScaleMotor

I used;

-Tamiya front fork set
-Ultimate white and black primer
-Zero Paint metallic silver for the frame
-Zero fluorescent orange for the wheels
-Home mixes colours for the fairings
-Tamiya RC213V decals
-Alcad 2 for all the other metals
-Various LPs and Xs for other bits and bobs
-Mr. Hobby premium acrylic clear

I masked the scheme using Tamiya masking tape and it was a bit of a pain! Had to use various RC213V decals, and had to cut twist and touch up the letters as they had cuts for the race bike fairings.

Thanks for taking a look and any feedback is welcomed!

Thank you so much! I thoroughly enjoyed this one, even if it was a little hard at times.

Next up will be the Ford Futura!

The video is up here for the final, if anyone is interested:

Looks great. I'll have to check out your videos in the next couple of days. I like to watch good build videos with my morning coffee.
