Revell Ar-196 1:35 scale build

Hi all,

Starting an update thread for my Ar-196 so you can all track my progress of my first proper build in many many moons, and (hopefully) offer some constructive criticism! Or maybe just criticism...
Finding a balance between flight sim, modelling and school (in that order..) is tough, but taking 30 mins here or and hour there is keeping this kit going, and allowing me to take it nice and slow to concentrate of showing some of the super detail on this kit.

Cockpit and panel are all done, weathered and washed, nice and dirty as from what I could tell, these Arados were not washed much due to the high tempo of operations, as we speak the framing and tubing is drying, one side from the initial paint, and the other from the weathering wash, another coat will follow tomorrow hopefully! I've been trying out some new techniques, drybrushing namely and it is rather heavy, along with the wash (tamiya XF-15 'Smoke' watered down), but I think dirty models look super and the grime and grease in some of these old birds is astounding.
