Railway modelling

Hi all,

Aircraft modelling has been off the agenda for quite some time now due to lack of mojo. I have, however, kept my hand in with another hobby of mine - railway modelling. Due to time constraints, I've focused on a range of rolling stock projects, mainly kitbuilt and then painted and weathered.

These are all 4mm OO gauge. The first and last are Parkside kits, the middle 16t mineral wagon is a ready to run Dapol item, supplied unpainted and subsequently finished and weathered by me for a commission.

I'll try to dig out some more pictures once Photobucket is back online if anyone wants to see them.

I'd definitely like to see more of your work on these - I know you mentioned in the first post that you've been focussing on rolling stock but would also love to see any weathered locos in your collection if you have them.

First off is a CCT, made from the Parkside kit. This is still awaiting markings once I source something suitable:

I'm not much of a train person but I do like to watch them. Yesterday I got to go to Time Machine Hobby in Manchester Connecticut https://timemachinehobby.com/ where they have a massive train layout plus several smaller sets that run on the first and 3rd Sunday of the month.
I shot this video of two trains passing each other. The room is huge!
