Dons Out of comfort picks

Post by smokeriderdon »

OK folks, these four are kits I obviously was interested in but are NOT planes. If you know me at all, I do not build much of anything but planes. So any of these is certainly out of my norm.

Went with the Harley...I like Harley's and I think the Whippet is too easy, Dr9 might not be too much of a stretch and the Viper not too complicated....Harley it is :nena:  :cheers2:

Well, if you are going with difficulty, the dozer probably is the most complicated of the kits. But the Harley is close to my heart, so I wont be mad if thats what it is. LOL

    What? No Floater?? :D

I went with the dozer as I've had an eye on one of those for a while so really interested to see how that builds up.
    Cheers, Neil

Oh hell no! LOL I dont own any floaty thingies. There are only two I would do. The Black Pearl and the old Revell Spanish Galleon. The Galleon solely because I had that kit as a kid and never finished it.

I really wanted the dozer with the slat armor, but finding that version for a reasonable price is almost impossible. And no one makes an aftermarket set.

I've backed the dozer but I was torn between it and the Harley.

Heard nothing but good things about the Meng dozers so hoping it will be a blast for you :th:
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Seems a lot of folks like the Harley option as well. We will se how the dozer goes. Maybe I will do the Harley as well.
