Tomcat's Desert Rat - Bronco 1/35 Humber Mk II

Post by Tomcat64 »

Taking this one right to the wire but here are the reveal photos for my Bronco 1/35 Humber Armoured Car Mk II and desert diorama base.

This wasn't a kit for the faint hearted as it includes a full interior, suspension and engine and is incredibly fiddly in places - this isn't helped by the random errors included in the instructions to trip up the unwary. The full trials & tribulations of the build are here for those that would like to take a look.

Onto the photos - a quick walkaround of the finished item

This also ticked another one off my list of my early Matchbox 1/76 kits rebuilt in 1/35

Thanks again to everyone that came along for the build and offered support & encouragement throughout - it was very much appreciated :cheers2:
Cheers, Neil

Cracking result. The car is excellent but the setting of the base and the figures really seals the deal.

Bravo Sir, bravo!
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Agree with both above. After long trials and tribulations I think you've produced a superb result : :

Stokesy said it well, but I'd like to add I enjoyed the subtlety employed in the weathering process. Really nailed the base too.
