Hello from new member

Post by Rich100 »

Hi all,
Just joined a while back and have been looking around the forum so thought it was time to introduce myself.
Iv'e been making models on and off for quite a few years but never really to a high standard but just lately i have decided to up my game (hopefully).
There are some amazing model makers on the forum so i hope i can raise my level somewhat. I started making 1 1/2 tamiya motorbikes 7 or 8 years ago as i own 2 bikes and love to ride but i have just started to buy some 1/20 and 1 1/2 F1 cars mainly from the 90's which i love the style of the cars.
I work in Aviation but have never made a model of any aircraft so maybe that will be on the cards in the future.
Look forward to being on the forum and learning from you all over time.
Thought i'd add a couple of photos of two of my bikes and to see if i could post okay using Flickr ( success).

Regards, Rich.

:welcome: Hi Rich
superb looking bikes  love the Rossi graphics
I also work in Aviation and have only built a couple of small planes, not something I felt like building after spending all night working on one.

Hello and :welcome: to the ISM forum Rich.

When you get a moment please check out the forum guidelines which can be found ---> here

We'd love to see your work & progress and it's great to see that you're using Flickr already :th:

If you do need any more info there is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here

As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here

We're also running a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.

Otherwise take a look around and join in, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Have fun!
Cheers, Neil
