Today is a landmark day. I'm calling the clanker finished.

Final knockings today were dry pigments. I dusted up the tracks, the wheels, return rollers, track guards and the front and rear ends. Everything was dry applied with a brush or effects sponge, except the front and rear view of the tracks where I applied some thinner to get a a nice thick covering.

The sag of the track is a bit all over the place as the tracks move when the tank does. Once its properly on display I'll tweak them so they look all pretty and saggy









I was pleased with how the track guards came out. The tools seem to suck the pigments down for a really nice sun fade / dusty look.



I also dry brushed the wheels and return rollers in the hope the detail could be seen on them



The powder has really taken the edge off the tools and they look much more organic now.









And here it is. Its taken far longer than I thought it would but you could say its more cost-effective that way!











I'll do some revel photos but that's it for the build thread.

Thank you. I was not into armor myself until recently. I would recommend armor to any modeler. Get a nice Tamiya recent release and go have fun. 1/35 is a great scale to work on.
