2022 GB Subject Poll

Post by Tomcat64 »

Ok folks after some chewing over here is the shortlist Poll for the 2022 Group Build subjects.

Sorry if your favourite didn't make the cut, but hopefully there's something in here for everyone based on the feedback from the discussion thread.

You're able to vote for up to three different subjects out of the six listed.

We'll leave this up for about three weeks and then hopefully be in a position to get started with the first one early in the New Year (hangovers permitting).

Just as a reminder here is the intended schedule for 2022

Some excellent choices here. Very encouraging to see my three picks are, so far, also the most popular!

Love the 1/48 scale year long drop in too!

I actually have a ton of kits that fit the leading categories. The problem will be figuring out which ones to build.

Yep - there should be plenty of opportunities for new builds next year :th:

And the 1/48 GB will be open all year long for people to drop in as many times as they want to.

Yep it's been stuck at 67 for a few days now (I think Diggers Wallaby Goggles must have been fogged up :) )

It's about half of what we got last year which is sad to see, but yep there's definitely some interesting options there :)

I'll leave this open until about this time next week and then call it :th:

        Only 57.....shame there aren't more.
        :cheers2:
67 now!! Looks like it going to be:
        Not the Usual Conflict
        Maritime
        Large scale builds

        Gonna be interesting!! :) :)
Yep it's been stuck at 67 for a few days now (I think Diggers Wallaby Goggles must have been fogged up :) )

It's about half of what we got last year which is sad to see, but yep there's definitely some interesting options there :)

I'll leave this open until about this time next week and then call it :th:
        :bow::
Ok oK ....my mental arithmetic isn't what it used to be..... :bash:

Final bump on this one - looks like we have our three winners, but I'll close it down on Wednesday in case there's any more late-comers :th:

I like the look of those results. Might need something for the naval SIG but I'm covered for the other front runners.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Ok Everyone - it looks like we have our winners...

        1. Not the Usual Conflicts (any subject from any conflict except the World Wars) will run from January to April
        2. Maritime will run from May to August
        3. Large Scale Kits will run from September to December

As a reminder here is the full schedule:

And it looks like @bfrd has been busy creating the work areas for us, as well as adding a handy calendar to the top of the forum :th:

I'll pop up the rules & guidelines for the first two as soon as I can, but let us know if you have any questions in the meantime :cheers2:
        Cheers, Neil

I'm in to start of with either a armored subject or a AA unit, but got a Pfalz do do first so probably won't start until Feb.
