Welcome to the 2022 1/48 Drop-In build

The idea for this Group is to allow people to drop in throughout the year whenever they're between builds either for the other Group Builds or just in general to build any 1/48 they want to. Because of the drop in approach we'll run this for the whole year which will hopefully allow people to participate as many times as they like between other projects.

If we get more than twenty finished entries then I'll look at providing something suitably 1/48 as a prize at the end of the year if people are interested.

2022 1/48 Drop-In Rules and Guidelines - PLEASE READ

Objective: Build any subject as long as it's in 1/48 scale

Guidelines...

1. Any kit subject from any genre and era is allowed including but not limited to aircraft, armour & sci fi
2. Any kit manufacturer
3. Only 1/48 scale kits are allowed.
4. Anyone can join regardless of skill level.
5. There is no restriction on material or any after market products.
6. Scratch building is allowed.
7. After market decal sets are allowed.
8. Dioramas are allowed
9. You can enter as many times as you like.
10. All kits MUST be in unstarted condition - no exceptions (damaged while in transit sprue parts are allowed).
11. All entries must have a build thread in this forum area for the entry to be valid.
12. A progressive build thread must be posted - which must include sprue and box shots, regular picture and/or video updates with comments on hints & tips - by sharing your build progress others can learn.
13. You must provide a minimum of three still photographs (as well as any video) as part of your final reveal.
