Calendar

Post by bfrd »

Now that it has been a few days, what do you guys think of the Calendar that I installed?

If you don't have any idea what I am talking about, the "Weekly Overview" only appears on desktop browsers and not on phones or tablets. There is also a link in the toolbar for a month view.

Bit surprized when I first saw it, but yes very much a positive improvement. Also provides that poke in the rib reminder for how much time is left in a build.

I really like it - I think it's a great addition.

I hadn't spotted the monthly overview before you mentioned it but that's really well laid out as well.

Just kicking ideas around but how difficult would it be to change the font colour for a GB? Just thinking maybe it could flag a GB in red for its final week (or two).
Cheers, Neil

Very easy, a color is already an option. That is assuming you meant color and not some made-up word colour.

Just make sure you use my neighbor's favorite color. This forum has a lot of humor and it is a labor of love to come here and chat with other modelers! :nena:

I quite like it although the ISM Banner seems to have shrunk. Now if you could just have a section that automatically shows new posts for me when I log in (like the quick links) ...........

Kidding :?

What exactly do you mean. There is already a section that shows new posts. If it is possible I will give it a shot.

I put it down to insecurity  they were so new at statesmen ship they thought they had to reinvent the wheel : and as time goes on they have become more entrenched in their own system....changing now would admit they might have got some things wrong. Even the English changed to the decimal system, it makes so much sense. When will USA see the light....

Ah - but it doesn't explain why the colonials decided to insert a W in Jaguar.... When Ford added Jag to the PAG we had a succession of US Management coming over to go inspect the Browns Lane site - and we used to drive them nuts"Ah want a pool car and directions to the Jag-war site"
"Jag-war?? Whats that then?
"Y'all know - we just bought it. Jag-war"
"Sorry boss - must have been a high level job, don't know of anything about Jag-war. Hang on I'll ask Central"
Clerk phones his mate in Warley Head Office - 15 mins later - "Nope, sorry can't help you I'm afraid. Central haven't heard of a Jag-war either. You sure you are in the right country??"
By now the Colonial is either getting red faced or virtually crying in frustration..... The next outburst usually ran along the lines of:
"Jag-war, JAG-WAR...You know - they made the E-type and XJS...."
"Ohhh - you mean JagUar... Now I get you. Heres the keys to a 2.9 Granada and the directions and a map. Please remember the car is manual transmission and we drive on the right here. After the incident with the Cosworth recently we have to ask - have you written your last will and testament??

Back on the serious subject - been using the mobile. Will have to get glet the desktop rebuilt and check it out.

Don't sweat it Matthew - I'm just being awkward. I check every few hours for spam and to save one whole click of the mouse it would be convenient if instead of the board index home page I could see the new posts but it's not worth the time and effort to accommodate a grumpy old sod like my wife's husband

Just remember where you got the language from (before you altered it)

Oh, and I'm in Scotland but I'm assuming by England you mean the UK, or Great Britian as it was called then

And another thing..... it's pronounced 'Jag-you-are' - no silent 'double-you'
