01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the YouTube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Please only post one picture JUST THE KIT ITSELF ON A PLAIN BACKGROUND of a kit you've finished this week, along with SHORT description of the basic work done, including kit manufacturer, subject and scale, please keep it short and concise.
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.
05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

Finished this beast - together with 2 others - as part of the 2022 Summer Sci-Fi build.
Its Imai's rendition of the Spectrum SPV for the Gerry Anderson TV series "Captain Scarlet". Not to any particular scale but I would put it around 1/48 at a guess.
Its a pretty basic kit - meant to be motorised but no motor is supplied. Shortly after I finished the 4 tracks on the rear supplied with the kit snapped irrepairably. Fortunately I found an on-line supplier for micro toothed drive belts that were more or less an exact match. Equally fortunately a member of the Facebook group was able to bail me out when the large Spectrum roundel on the nose decided to wrap itself around the cotton bud being used to press the air out from under.
Primary colour is Porsche Miami Blue by MRP, all colours are Tamiya - White, Silver, Red and Flat Black.

Die-cast body (stripped, de-seamed, repainted); Engine, driveline, chassis, suspension, and wheels cast metal with metal spokes (all de-seamed, re-drilled, and squared); Many scratch built items including the dash, footwell, wiring, hoses, foot pedals, clamps and fittings, oil fill tube; custom driver created from three figures and modified to fit cockpit; Flagman converted from 1/20 Tamiya pit crew set; wood display base made from scratch. Driven by Hans Stuk, three time European Mountain Champion.
