Shenyang J-15 'Chinese Navy 2017' - Hasegawa 1:72

Post by RodolfoMas »

Hi everyone,
I'm strarting to assemble this kit:

to make the Shenyang J-15 Flying Shark:

Source: http://navyrecognition.com/

The J-15 Flying Shark is based on the Su-33 design, but it is fitted with indigenous engines, weapons and radar. In many aspects the J-15 is similar to Shenyang J-11 air superiority aircraft that is based around the similar Su-27 airframe.

A quick look inside the box:

Interesting bit of history, but how do you think the aircraft stacks up against the other major powers and there air wings ?
