Expressions of interest in a F1 sig

Post by Fridgy »

Hi everyone....

Wonder if you guys would be interested in a F1 sig?

Sticking to all cars that have ever raced in F1 over the entire history of the races

Was thinking of runnimg it long and fairly lazy... was toying with the idea of the sig running the length of the F1 season (25 March to 25 November)

Who's keen??

And, I only have seven Ferraris not counting the FXXK coming in mail
Oh hang on there are three more at home closet..those don't count either.
A dozen would be a good round number of Ferrari ;)

Would love to source a Petronas Mercedes AMG W80. If not will have to settle for the Hamilton/McLauren era above.

While I am still relatively new to this forum I think I just found out how to participate in one of these SIG's.

Started a build two months ago on an old 1/20 Revival 1939 Mercedes W163 and just completed it this week. I posted some of the build on another forum, but if you allow it, I have many more photos and details of the build that I would like to participate with it in this SIG; is that OK?

And if it is, where do I start posting the build?

v/r,

Ben

Hey Ben, This sig hasn’t gotten off the ground yet...probably in September or so.
But, would love to see your Revival build. You can start a thread in here under “New Topic” ...red letters upper left area
viewforum.php?f=39

Just click the new topic, type in your subject title and then post away
Photos are added using a third party host site like Flickr or Photobucket, not directly loaded into the website
If you have any questions, please feel free to private message me...just click my green name and you will see ‘send private message’
Cheers bud, I want to see your build, I built a Revival Bugatti T35 and have the same Mercedes kit as well in my stash

I've built a couple other 1/20 Revival F1 kits too; a 1953 Ferrari 500 (plastic kit); a 1956 Ferrari D50 F1 World Champion (metal kit).

I also have the 1936 Auto Union Tipo C with dual rear wheels in metal that I have not started on. How was the Bugatti T35 to build?

Here is the D50:
