Monogram 1/24 '70 Plymouth GTX, I built this for the USACC group build over on You tube and their facebook.

For a near 40 year old kit it wasnt too bad to build, a bit simple in places but still an enjoyable kit.



• Primed in Grey Tamiya primer

• Painted in Scale finishes Dodge F8 Dark green

• Masked and painted the black stripes on the bonnet

• Kit decals used on side stripes

• Wheel were left kit chrome and the tyre lettering pinted with a white paint pen

• Chrome was repainted using GX2 and Mr hobby super metallic Plate silver

• Body was flatted with micromesh and 3m pads

• Then polished with Ultimate polish system

• Kit glass was badly marked so was fix with micromesh and novus polish

• Interior was done black on black with black Flocking

• Kit wing mirrors were replaced with scale production ones

• Kit exhaust was changed for some alloy tubing

Love the color !it came out great ! and as you said good looking kit for the age it is ! One I made years ago when I didn't have an airbrush. Used rattling cans.
