  All the parts were given a coat of Ultimate grey primer and when dry several light coats of semi gloss black. Lots of masking tomorrow to put the zero jet black paint down in the right place. Started prepping the hood

  Laid down the decals on the rear end, doors and centre section and then gave all a 2K clear coat. Added the valves to the wheel rims and clear coated them too but forgot to take a picture :bash: :bash: . More assemble can get finished now and that just leaves the hood to paint and clear coat.

  The sub assemblies are starting to be assembled with the upper centre section being attached to the lower section using 6 supplied screws. The wheels have now been attached too. The wheels came pre- sprayed gold in the kit which on inspection turned out to be a nice gold color with a smooth finish so all I did was to add the valves and give them a 2k clear coat. The tyres themselves are also as supplied having only the Good Year decals added.

Damn it Hawk! This is another one that will have to be added to my wish list! Can’t you just make a hash of a build one time so I don’t feel the urge to buy the same kit!!

Looks amazing, can’t wait to see it finished.

  Sorry Gary just doing my thing   but be aware the kit may be on a short run production like Trumpy did with it when they brought it out. Hiroboy still have it on back order so you might need to be sharpish in getting one and thanks both for looking in and your comments :thumb2:

All the pipe work at the rear has been finished off ,the final upper suspension rods added along with the carburetta assembly. The front body and hood have been sprayed jet black decals added and the given the 2K treatment.

@Bdiddy I know its a big call on that detail set but it is really worth it in my honest opinion and another thing is if you dont get it you will look at the car thinking I should have.

Nice work and great results. I have one of these too so it's nice to hear the assemblies went together well. From what I see in yours it looks like I need to get the detail set for the kit.

Thanks for sharing the build thread.
