Certainly a marked difference in size not to mention the overwhelming increase in fire power.

I remember reading a book dedicated to this specific plane and it's pilots as a kid. Always was an interesting aircraft

One gets the impression a short burst from the P47 would reduce the Fokker to matchsticks......
