I am from the Czech republic, the older modeler . Plastic models I am building from childhood. Up to now I started my plastic models to present at the exhibitions and the web. Now building a diorama of the Merkava MK.1.

Hi Dzar,
Great looking ship! Fantastically real looking planking and sail.

What was it like to build, difficulty-wise? I tried looking up a review of this on Scalemates but none listed. It does, however, say although the box claims it is 1/72, the dimensions make it 1/87 scale. Is that why you don't have figures on it? As, if it is in fact 1/87, 1/72 figures would be quite noticeably oversized.

Could you tell me what length the model I'ds please?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

hi, I'm answering your question about the Roman warship kit.
It is the original kit from the company "IMAI", which is now produced by the company Academy, the scale is 1/72, the approximate length of the model is 36 cm and the height of the model is 24 cm. This model was one of my first and since it didn't work out very well, I gave it away. Now I built the second one, it already has properly made rigging, wooden pulleys, sails made at home. I am also sending photos.

That is an absolutely fantastically built kit. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work from that time period! :cheers2:
