it started out alot longer but i can't get the front just right so i'm leaving it like that, it will pull to the left alittle but if the captain is any good he'll be able to adjust for the drift with the keel...do you guys think i should paint it or just varnish it to bring out the wood grain...going to have my family crest added to the sail...zingangelo...

Btw for those that don't know tim is a very good friend of mine I've known for a number of years, we met on a shooting forum (lee was a member too) and Tim has the zaniest and funniest sense of humour in the world.

Btw tim is the guy who gave me the deer antlers that hang pride of place in my man cave

i understand your puzzlement ps, not everyone you meet is as skilled with woodworking tools as i am you must be taken aback alittle to see such fine detail from a novice...don't worry, with alittle time and effort on your part you may soon be able to duplicate this fine work of art...if you get discouraged and need a tip or two just pm me and i'll do what i can from this distance...zingangelo (aka thumbs or nubs depending on which of my hands you are looking at)...

this is part of my rehab, it's this or another 8 years in the home for the criminally insane...geez, i wish everyone had your sense of humor, the district attorney and the judge certainly didn't, i thought my explanation of how i came to be in the possession of a dozen or so severed heads was quite humorous and informative in a "how to" sort of way...

what scale is it?...small, is it not apparent in the photo there?...geeze uk, i would think anyone with a modicum of understanding of this art form would be able to pick up on that...maybe i can recommend some books...but thanks for your kind remarks anyway...it is a time consuming passion but the end results are reward enough as you can clearly see in the original photo...i'm a tactical advisor with the us navy as we speak, that's all i can say at this time due to the sensitive nature of aircraft carrier design...i'm sure you understand...say no more say no more...zing python...
