Hi guys,
I started to build this Tamiya kit:

to build the car that won the 2018 Continental Tire Sportscar Championship's at the Road America track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on 4 August 2018.

I started by gluing the front bumper to the body ...

then (after a little sanding) a coat of Mr Finishing White primer ...

Lovely scheme, nice start. In my opinion Tamiya did a fantastic job on this kit especially the way the lights go together, makes it easy to get a really nice finish.

To avoid silvering, the decals were contoured one by one and applied after a coat of clear gloss ...

Going together very well; super neat and tidy :th:
This Tamiya kit looks as well engineered as the Mercedes AMG GT…and that is a heck of a nice kit
