Was perusing through the Facebook and came across this post. So I guess the Friday live shows are over?

I haven't tuned in for quite some time due to my work schedule. I'm interested to know if anyone is going to take up the mantle and continue on.

Ya sad news
Paul and DanS were the only remaining originals and it just didn’t have the same flavour as old
I must admit I have not participated in or watched for quite a while…stupid busy myself
Things run their course and get stale and I am sure they were all tired of prepping for Friday nights
Possibly others will take over?? I just saw the news posting today too on FB

I think there should be a big thumbs up to Paul for being the vanguard for the Friday night shows for over 7 years! The love of the hobby and personal investment into it should be commended. I can only imagine the hundreds of modelers that the show has helped or motivated through those times. Three cheers to Paul and I wish him great success in his next endeavor....

Yes indeed, well put
I am certain he helped thousands of former modellers rediscover their hobby…he certainly did that for me
He and Lee elevated our skills and expanded our resources and gave some good laughs along the way

I echo those sentiments exactly. Sums up my return to the hobby perfectly.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good. :doh:

Same here - it was Paul's step by step build series that helped me figure stuff out when I came back to the hobby and ultimately led me here
