Finding Wiring and Rigging materials

I live in the US and I've seen people who have nickel/lead wires as well as materials for rigging. Where can I find those materials. I know that the rigging is EZ Line however I have been coming up empty in my Googling for the product. Where can I find those items. I have maybe one or two kits that require those materials.

I use bait elastic for rigging, it's intended for wrapping around sea fishing bait to keep it on the hook. It comes in 2 or 3 thicknesses, is very cheap and can even be split into ridiculously fine strands for small scale work (bit fiddly but worth the effort) . The only downside is that it is generally a light colour so may need painting. I don't know if you have the same in the USA but I'm pretty sure it is also used as 'knitting in' elastic which I imagine is freely available.

I've done lots of rigging lately and EZ line is the best to use in my opinion. You can also buy Prizm threading on amazon. Other big brand like ak or Ammo sale materials that are a bit like EZ line. They are a few other asian brands that sells different size. You can fin those on BNA Model World or if I remember in Hobby World USA.

So EZ Line is the go to for say rigging for WW1 airplane wings and similar things but what about the linkages for the wiring of a Spitfire, or piping/wires for scratch building additional detail on the engines

Lead wire, copper wire, fuse wire, brass rod or pipe, Aluminium wire. Really just about anything that doesn't have a lot of spring in it and finding the right size.
Aluminium foil, food trays, brass foil and sheet of different metals right down to 0.1mm can also be found if you just do a net search in ebay or Aliexpress , use paypal and your covered.
