So I mentioned in the resin thread about printing some wheels
The kit wheels and tires are absolute pants as the English would say
Tried some Cragar mags on the printer…blaa




The rims wouldn’t support well and so printed out small and weird
So I looked for another version online and found Foose made this car with his spoked mags on it …he is a US based custom car designer, builder and artist. Super Cool guy


So off we go to find a stl file online to 3D print and they came out magnificent






Super stoked about this, still some work to do to make tires but very happy to be able to do this.
This is why I bought a 3D printer

Ha, would never own one of these, well maybe never. German sports car for sure.
The kit is three big boxes deep under my desk. I thought about digging it out, but there is a lot of piffle in the way to get to it

Anyway, for the princely sum of 25 bucks you have got yourself a brilliant kit to chop about at little expense to make a convertible from.
I will be following this one!

I think that a company named Agora has a 1/8th scale Stingray Coupe in their line up.
Their new James Bond Aston Martin DB5 looks very impressive from the Daniel Craig films that was on their stand at IPMS SMW Telford last November.
Also had a Shelby Cobra and a Mustang on view as well as a Mercedes racing car from the 1950's.

All very expensive but worth a look if only to dream!
