New Bugatti Type 35B kit

Italeri have announced a new 1/12th scale kit of the legendary Bugatti Type 35B for release to compliment their other 1/12th scale vintage classics.
I was looking at the MFH kit but could not justify shelling out over 500 pounds for it much as I would love to build one.
At least now there will be a more viable option to have a T35B in 1/12th scale when the Italeri kit hits the market. Plenty of scope for extra detailing I would imagine.

Is there a price known for the Italeri kit?

Price unknown just yet, but will probably be similar to their Alfa I would guess.

Think I might invest in one too - and then take a trip to Brooklands Motor Museum armed with a camera.

Neil, lots of interesting things at Brooklands, but don't remember seeing a Bugatti T35 there when I visited a year before Covid. Best check as I could be wrong.
A few years back though I saw one at the Haynes Motor Museum.
Another suggestion is to see when the next Bugatti Owners Club has a Bugatti event at Prescott, or VSCC events at Silverstone.

Interesting - I was watching "Secrets of the Museum" the other night - behind the scenes at Brooklands if you've not seen it - and they had a Type 35 being worked on. I guess it must have been a privately owned one.

Didn't catch that one Neil. Have seen some of the series though.
Possibly the T35 you saw being worked on might be a new acquisition.
Some of the museums have reciprocal loans of exhibits from time to time. I visited Gaydon a number of years ago and they had the Bentley Blower from the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu on display.
Last time I visited Brooklands was about a year before Covid hit.
Went down there to research the Napier Railton for a scratch built model that I have now finished.

I bought the Bugatti kit late last year whilst working on another project. Looks good in the box.
Having visited some model shows recently I came across a few beautifully built models on display, and chatting to their builders they all were quite impressed with the quality and fit of parts on their models.
