Hi All,
I started modeling airplanes when I was 8 with my dad, right after visiting a neighbor who had a massive collection of them hanging from the ceiling of the room. I was very impressed at the time, it was a Saturday morning and the immediate plan was to go to a popular model shop. I kept the hobby and passion going all these years but making some interruptions to other life circumstances that were more important at certain times. Now, after a few years and with a little more time, I put it back on.
I ended up selling all the stuff I had to make when I saw it filling up with dust on the shelves. (There came a time when I was young that I bought everything without considering whether I would have time to finish them or not) .... typical of this disease.. :D :D
Now I only model what I buy when I find a piece that I´m really interested.
With my son with whom I try to share this hobby by giving him a good knowledge base and documentation and with the help of the new tools of today that will surely help him to make models.
Well, I'll let you work and keep enjoying the best of hobbies ... :pop:

See you soon!
:cheers2: :cheers2:

I totally get that! I actually picked it up again a few years ago after walking by a model shop and seeing some cool kits. It’s a great way to unwind, especially when life gets hectic. I’ve got a couple of old cars I’ve been working on lately, and it’s just nice to get lost in the details for a bit. Finishing something feels really rewarding too, and yeah, nothing beats kicking back with a coffee after a session.
