Front screen

Post by wulliep »

:nena: guys needing advice i have accidentally split the screen right down the centre on my current build a Suzuki RGV-R kenny roberts jnr
I have glued it back together and as you can expect there is a obvious join right down the centre, any recommendations on best way to hide it i was thinking of maybe clear yellow over it to make it a coloured screen open to sujestions

I would make a new one out of whatever materials you can find.
Once I broke the screen of a 1/12 F1 car. I used milliput to press the broken screen into to make a mold, then cut a plastic drink bottle ends off to make a tube, stuck the mold on a rod, plastic drink tube over the rod, heated with a hair dryer, and it shrunk tight over the milliput making a new screen. Was pretty easy in the end.

Failing that I have just built the XR89 bike - RGV-T -and have the front clear screen as a spare, as the bike is displayed without the cowling. Its yours if you want to research if it will fit or not. Let me know.
