If anyone ever comes up with a 1/16 Churchill Crocodile, Comet, Centurion, Firefly or 25pdr, Quad & Limber - that would be a different story! :lol:
British subjects are poorly served in 1/16. We have the Gecko Universal Carrier but the only other one I can think of is the Andy's HHQ Achilles which is only half British if we're honest.

Like you I would love to see a full up British tank. It would definitely be case of 'shut up and take my money'.

The Tongde Churchill is a ready-built model - can be found on the dreaded Evilbay for around £300. More an expensive toy rather than accurate scale model
The Tamiya Centurion I'd love - but at over £1,000 its gonna stay long distance lust - the OH seriously freaked out when I invested in a Border Models Lanc - so much so the "D" word was yelled for months after...... :shock:

    Did not realise the Tongde was premade :doh:
    If I was going to buy a big 1/16 kit I'd go for the M113, there are so many different variants that could be built and so many pic's available it's not funny. Of course I'd be wanting to do the Aussie versions :D .

    Have you looked in AliExpress? Sometimes they have stuff you cannot get anywhere else. I would think that there will be some eventually.

    Also, if they made the M113 with other options like the hammerhead TOW missile, or the Vulcan ADA gun, or even a M577 command post. Then I would be tempted to get one of them too...

    Just think of the option if someone made an FV432 series!!
    * Mk 1
    * Mk 2
    * Troop carrier
    * Mortar Carrier
    * Ambulance
    * REME with Atlas crane for doing Chieftain power pack swaps in the field.
    * Cymbeline
    * Green Archer
    * Ptarmigan Rebro
    * Command wagon
    * Ranger bar mine layer
    * Peak turret
    * Scorpion/Scimitar turret fire support

    Of course - for number 6 (REME) you'd also need a 1/16 Chieftain to make a power pack swap diorama - which would probably take up the top of the dining table..... :lol:
