Thefts from UK Model Shows

Post by NoelSmith »

A friend of mine had two completed figure models stolen from a prestigious model show recently. From what I have heard there have been a number of other thefts from various shows.
They can be a bit of a target for thieves due to a generally relaxed social atmosphere By all means just enjoy the shows but just be a bit vigilant.

Why would someone be that stupid? Theres no real value in terms of £££'s in completed kits to sell on which why most thefts take place. And trying to pass off work superior to your own is going to get questions asked.

The absolute gall of some people is astounding, of all the things to steal why completed kits?

All you're accomplishing is upsetting the person who put all their hard work into them.

    Complete asshats.

It's not just built up models that get stolen from shows. Kits and accessories too !
