Testers Aluma Coupe

Post by Twokidsnosleep »

Been making this alongside the American Graffiti car so as to use the same paint and clear techniques
This is THE WORST model kit I have ever built

The car is a Boyde Coddington design, not a guy I really respect mainly as he destroyed a Mustang in one of his reality show episodes by purposely running it at max throttle and blowing the engine. Disgusting behaviour

I am a Chip Foose fanboy and he worked with Boyde, then went out on his own and designed this HemisFear car that I quite like but there is no kit.
I far preferred Chip’s Overhauling show to Boyde’s.
I should have painted mine green

Testors eh? These things are sent to test us... pun intended
Looks allright though. Good job on finishing it rather than binning it

Man it was so close
I was going to save the wheels and tires and take my metal exhaust pipes off and the rest right into the garbage at my feet

Kudos for finishing it. I admire your commitment, you need to build something from Bandai now to offset your internal modelling balance!
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.
