Years ago I started painting up a small army of mainly 80s and 90s era Games Workshop stuff.



For the GB I'd like to finish this squad that have sat in blue for about 4 years, and maybe build a few other bits too - the army needs a commander and I have a Dreadnought (A big robot thingy) to build too.

I’m in… assuming I can gear up in the next few weeks. I have an X-wing ordered, but have a lot more shopping to do. This will be a “minimalist” build, I’ll explain more in the build thread.

But - if you are into Gerry Andersons UFO series this site might interest you:

* Skydiver - 1/350 - 12,100 Yen/£57/$75

* Fireball XL5 (this one's expensive (24,800 Yen/£117 /$154) and there are better options on the market)

These are all Resin kits with decals so minimal assembly but great scope for painting/detailing
Might be of interest to someone looking for an unusual build for this build. Got me wonering how Skydiver compares size-wise to a Typhoon class SSBN....

They also do - or did - Strakers car and the Lunar Interceptor but these are marked as sold out.
