Is HobbyEasy any good to buy from ??

Hiya with some birthday cash to burn (and thank you all for the bday best wishes too my friends )
I wanted to get my hands on some dragon kits, and came across HobbyEasy, they seem to have good deals on DML kits, but has anyone done business with them before and if so would you recommend them ??

I've never heard of them.The prices seem a little high for sale items.

Take a look at Lucky Hobby, they seem to be the preferred Asian supplier for many here.

Can't help you with that supplier Shane but I can point you to some good deals on Dragon kits from a UK supplier: http://www.modelhobbies.co.uk/shop/specials.php?page=3, I use them all the time and the customer service is great.

thanks lads, I normally get most my stuff off luckymodel never had any trouble with them, its just the long wait and that most of their DML stuff is out of stock, but I think I'll go modelhobbies a go.

I have order a lot of stuff from HobbyEasy and its my first visit for air/afv kits and aftermarket parts.
If you want auto/scifi/anime then HLJ is better.
As mentioned Lucky Model is worth a visit but I have found their shipping (for me anyone) and range is not quite as good as those above.

thanks buddy, ya luckymodels shipping takes an age for stuff to arrive, i made an order off them about a week back, and i say ill be waiting at least another two weeks for it to arrive

Happy to be of help. I've ordered from them five or six times no problem. And one of my friends have ordered a lot from them, for years, and he has never had the slightest problem.

Ordered 3 kits for myself and a workmate from Hobbyeasy yesterday. Email today advising they have shipped, thats quick even for them.

His eurofighter was slightly more expensive, but in stock
My Leopard & Mig were less than a dollar more, but the killer was the shipping which was considerably more making it much cheaper and offset the difference plus some.

It takes some time but it is worth shopping around, and if you can find someone to split the shipping costs with you it will always work out cheaper shipping 2 kits rather than 1.

As always there is the fallback of Ebay, where you may get a bargin but run the risk of a less than honest seller.

Be sure to let us know how you get on.

I sent off an order from them last night, so we'll see how it goes, your right about the shipping, was a bit more expensive than i expected but ah well lol

Thanks lads, was never a big fan of HLJ for some reason, but I'm really liking Hobbyeasy for their great range, that luckymodel always seems to be out of stock of
