Airfix 1/48 Supermarine Spitfire MkII

This will be my first serious attempt at an aircraft model. This kit is out off my comfort zone, I mostly build 1/35 Armor kits. I picked this kit up at a model show a couple of years ago. I am at a point in a build where there is a lot of waiting for paint to dry. I wanted to do something different, so I pulled this kit out of the closet. This is the first Airfix kit that I had ever bought and I was pleased at the details and fine molding. I hope I can do this subject justice.

Can't beat a Spit to start with Mike, everybody's first aircraft was (is) an Airfix Spitfire......

The Spitfire is kinda like the Tiger tank, everyone builds one sooner or late but like the Tiger its always worthwhile to see one built. I'll follow along mate if you don't mind.
