Easy White Photography Box - DIY Cheap

Here is a little White photography box I made out of plain white a bit shy of 1/4" poster board - 4 or 5 pieces neded, super glue, staples or wire brads, tape measure, X-Acto, Blue Tape and a good ole Pencil.







I did my own modification to it to make it what I wanted. Here are the directions I got word for word off the tutorial I read it off of. Sorry if an of it is confusing.

1. Cut 1 poster bord in half 15"each. These two will be your sides.
2. Take another board cut 15" up ad 15" down This is the back side of the booth.
3. On another piece of board cut to size for the bottm of booth. Staple along the parimeters.
4. Apply super glue and slide the sides onto the bottom.
5. Put top on using staples or wire brads to hold it together then super glue for security.
6. When ready, run tape along all seams which reinforces the joints and makes sids fit snug together.
7. Cut the left over board from the backside into two strips lengthwise which will serve for reinforcements forthe lamp attachment screws should you choose to mount lights to the box.
8. Glue the two pieces to te top of the booth. One close to the middle and the other closer the backside of the booth.

Should you choose to mount lights to the box. Use 2 24" under cabinet lights, 75 watts or more.
9. Mark location of the lamp attachment points and make holes in the board where the screws will go.
10. Screw the screws in slowly that came wth te lights. When tight, drop super glue on each for added security which sets them into the poster board.
11. Mount the lamps.
12. Use styrofoam as screw caps thatstick out, secring wth super glue.
13. Cut holes - Run the poer cables insde the booth and connect lamps.
14. Run tape over reinforcements/ Firmly secure in place.
15. Plug the lights in and your ready to rock and roll.

Im also going to take a white touch up marker and go along the seams in the inside where I used super glue as it makes a darker outline where super glue is used. This should make it white again to avoid any possible shadows. Im doing a different lighting scnerio so I could avoid the last few steps.
