Academy CT-133

Here's my entry for the group build finally. I actually did start it on Nov 11th, however life and other hobbies have made the progress somewhat slow.
It's the Academy T-33A kit in 1/48th scale. I have the true details cockpit kit and wheels. I also got the Scale aircraft conversions metal landing gear for it. I'll be finishing it in the late style grey scheme in the 434 Sqn based in greenwood NS. Here is some info on the specific bird:

Ex RCAF 21052. Served with No. 414 Squadron, 1982 and 1983. Served with Baden Base Flight, Germany. With Group Tactical Training Flight, CFB Sollingen, Germany in 1991. Served with No. 434 (Combat Support) Squadron in 1995, at CFB Greenwood, NS. Sold 2001 (or later) to Air Combat Warfare International of Kitchener, Ontario. Registered as N53KK.



I've been making some headway as of late but there are some issues with the fit of the wings. Will be lots of filler and sandpaper. Always a fun time.

I've never done a plane before, but I can tell those wings are a pain in the butt. Good luck on the kit, nice to have ya in the GB.

I wouldn't call filling gaps the most FUN part of modelling, but it's better than having to look at a huge gap on a beautifully finished model for ever and ever and ever...
