czech figures wanted

Hi guys!
I ordered a 1:35 Academy Hetzer as seen here:



The story behind this Hetzer is that Czech freedom fighters would break in the Skoda factory in Prague and steel these Hetzers uncompleted. If it would run, they steel it. These Hetzers were without gun, so the Chech rebellion welded a steel plate in front of the hole and mounted a MG. Often these tanks were in hull colour or even bare metal. They used these hetzers to scare the hell out of the Germans and liberated Prague.

Now I'm looking for some 1:35 Czech figures. Having trouble to find them. Found some Hungarians I can use, even Polish.
But maybe one of you guys now were to get Czech tankers or can keep an eye out?

very cool back story to this tank, really colorful and love the all the markings should be a great build

maybe for figures have a look at Masterbox partisans or resistance fighters, I know are meant to be french but I say you could easily trick them out as crezhs

No its NOT and it never was ......... it is a Jagdpanzer 38t . ..... the thing never was named the Hetzer

True, it is a Jagdpanzer 38t.
Later it was nicknamed "Hetzer" (1944). And that means "baiter" (in dutch "opruier" ) http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hetzer

The name Hetzer was at the time not commonly used for this vehicle. It was the designation for a related prototype, the E-10. The Škoda factory for a very short period confused the two names in its documentation and the very first unit equipped with the vehicle thus for a few weeks applied the incorrect name until matters were cleared. However, there exists a memorandum from Heinz Guderian to Hitler claiming that an unofficial name, Hetzer, had spontaneously been coined by the troops. Post-war historians basing themselves on this statement made the name popular in their works, the vehicle was never named as such in official documents.

But the Troops used to call this jagdpanzer "hetzer"

As some mates said, I recommend you kits from citizens from miniart, french resistance soldiers from masterbox or a kit from ICM about soviet partisans
