Upgrade sets for Dragon Tiger late HELP!!!

Post by Vilkas »

Hello, everyone :hi:

I have a quick question for esteemed colleagues in this forum, I am thinking about my next build which I would like to be Dragon late Tiger 3 in 1 (6253). It especially interests me because one of the painting schemes represents unit that was fighting in Lithuania and that happens to be my country    , so I was contemplating investing in to making what seems an already wonderful kit even better. I was looking at Voyager and E.T. sets, found some reviews that Voyager set for AFV is way better that the one for Dragon.: Will there be any problem fitting the one for AFV on to Dragon kit, don't see why, but then again they are made specifically for the particular set. Or maybe some other ideas. Or maybe just do out of the box, cause that box is ready to burst!

If anybody has any suggestions, thank you in advance. Oh and I try to keep the budget lower...

Fit issues? Perhaps. There are ways to work around the fit issues. Before spending all kinds of money, I'd recommend researching the Tiger you want to model. Does it have everything in the box that you need? If not, is there anything you'd like to scratchbuild (zimmerit)? The Tiger is extremely popular and there are large numbers of aftermarket stuff available. Would you want to have the interior exposed? Partial interior? Engine compartment? You see where this is going. In the end, it is your model. Would love to offer more assistance. I think you should make a list of what you'd like to do with the model. That might help others in the thread get to the crux of the matter. I have no doubt Coen will be reading your thread (he has a nose for Tigers :)) and he'll give a helping hand.
