Trumpeter Tiger I early 1/72

Post by MeerkatInWater »

so ive finally got my things and this will be my first time ever painting a tank.

also im very sorry about the horrific photos, i really cant find my little camera :(

i placed the turret on a cocktail stick and the tank hull on a screw head.

Looking good Kieran and i think you changing your scale wouldn't be a problem at all, as the smaller builds for me are the hardest to do.

It's all good Meerkat, I'm almost scared to buy anything over 1/72 too... I think of how glorious it would be to sit on a thone of 1/48 and then I think of how many parts and I get scared... debilitating. :-p

I look forward to your progression on this Tiger, trying to decide if I should get one as my first tank or maybe a Emhar 1/72 Mk.IV Male WWI Tank.

see drazimo, i was at a wargames fair thing and i saw these trumpeter kits for £6 and i thought oh thats a bargain, so i grabbed the tiger and couldn't wait to get home and build the thing and to be honest i loved it, i quite actually prefer trumpeter at the minute, not horrificly priced and are actually really good kits.

also thanks everyone for the feedback.

but progress update. i spent the night painting the hull, just the tow cables to paint, just need the right color. and im thinking of removing the tracks of the side of the turret, im not very fond of them. im also still trying to find the right color for the muzzle, any suggestions?
