Trumpeter LAV III LORIT

Post by NovYank »

There's a section for the Honor Our Heroes Group Build? Well I'm just finding out. A little late to the party, but I'm here and that's all good.

A little story for you fine gents. So I don't want to build the standard LAV III that is provided in the kit, that is not when I saw the LORIT upgrade. Oh sweet chrismas that fits right into my fancy. There's huge pins on the exterior that I can drape with all the stowage I want, there's armor galore, and there's so many possibilities.

My obsession with the LORIT set has lead to myself looking for sets to quench my thirst. I have to commend Norm who has helped me with this decision of what kit to use. At this point I believe that I'm going to use a kit from Black Dog, but that's not set in stone.

Now my progress. Note the reason their is nothing on the upper hull is because I've been waiting for the LORIT set. I've been researching some pics in detail so those gaps would be filled soon.

Looks great. I've only built one Trumpeter kit so far and was completely pleased with the company. This seems great kit too. Good luck with the rest of the progress

Hey !!! Nice to see you entering the GB with a solid Build ! and with one of the BEST Trumpeter kit out there...

Guys... This is a no-brainer ! you see this kit for 18-21$ ON LINE or in store ? you just pick it ! Guarantied Happiness in a box !

Build out of the box or Full on Add ons form Real Models or Black Dog and you will be even Happier !

Keep up the good work buddy !

New plan gents. Instead of the LORIT I'm going to build the standard kit from the instructions but with a smaller stowage set from Black Dog. There are still a few more steps to go, but I'm almost done with the construction
