Precision applicator for cockpit work..

Not sure if anyone else does this but, hey hoo...

I always use a cocktail stick instead of a brush to pick out small detail in the cockpit and for putting MKK in for the dials etc. Cocktail sticks can be a little bit fiddley as you can't rest them in the crook of your hand like a paint brush. I cut the brush off an old paint brush and just tape two cocktail sticks to it, one either end like so.....



This allows me to use it with the precision of a brush/pencil. Once you've finished using it a just whittle the point down a little further to get a new nib. Once it's down to the holder I just replace the cocktail stick....Simples.

Good tip lee, I use cocktail sticks for alsorts modelling wise, good idea on the old paintbrush tip though.

Thats a great idea defo trying that next time! i use cocktail sticks all the time they can be annoying when you have heavy handed builders hands like me
