2014 SiGs - YOU Decide...

Post by Lee »

There will be four main ISM Special Interest Group Builds in 2014, one every three months. Rather than us dictating to you what they will be, we're going to let you guys decide.

Above you will see 12 options, which have all been suggested by members. You have four votes to cast. You can change your votes at any time. The poll will run for 30 days from today. The four SiGs with the most votes at the end of the poll will be ISMs four main SiGs for 2014.

Below are the basis for each SiG...

WWI - All things from the Great War.
Bare Metal - Any naked aircraft/military.
Steel Rain - Artillery/SPG's/Cannons etc etc.
Lockheed Martin - Anything made by this famous company.
Keep The Peace - Any UN peace keeping vehicle from 1975-2000
Chuck Yeager Air - Any aircraft flown by the most famous of pilots
6 Wheels or More - Any military vehicle from any age that has six or more wheels
On The Rails - Any military vehicle to be used on rails.
Night Fighters - Any night fighter versions of aircraft.
Fast, Faster, Fastest - Any racing vehicle including sports cars/motorbikes.
Love the 80's - Any military vehicle that was in service from 1980 to 1989.
Yom Kippur - Anything that was involved in the Yom Kippur conflict.

Please choose wisely as once these have been decided that's it there will be no other main ISM SiGs in 2014. There will still be members SIGs popping up now and then. We will be doing the same for the three main ISM GBs for 2014 too.

Looking forward to seeing what four prevail.

Have fun :D

Question on the Lockheed Martin entry. Will this include Lockheed Martin before it was Lockheed Martin? I.E. Lockheed before it merged with Martin Marietta? The Glenn L. Martin Company before it merged with the Marietta company?

Thanks,

GG

Really disappointed that the sigs are going the same way as the group builds.

Fingers crossed we get some more votes for the non military subjects before close off as those of us who like to build and read about a wide variety of kits don't have that many places as good as ism to hang out.
