Hobbyboss 1/48 F-111D/E Aardvark

[T3hGuppy]

So here she is my take on the F111D Aardvark.

Very pleased with this though my ambition did out do my skill.
This build took much longer than expected due to problems with the paint work and having to start over.

The kit it self is very nice and any fit issues where down to me.
I would recommend a little weight in the nose as it is a little back heavy.

My original plan of doing a base for this had to be abandoned as she is so big that the base would leave me with nowhere to show it off.

So on with the pics. Sorry their are so many but couldn't decide which ones to use

And a glamour shot with my 1/48 air force. shows the size of this one nicely.

Would have liked to get some outside shots but its raining again so no luck with that.

As always comments and criticism welcome and encouraged.

Fantastic work Guppy, love it!!! Followed your build thread and all your hard work has definitely paid off - the cam scheme is excellent and the weathering looks spot on!!

Seeing these winged thingies that you guys are building is really tempting me to have a go.
