How to embed youtube vids in a post?

Could you guys tell me how to embed a youtube vid in a post. This is for my entry to the bombers gb. I don't want to post a link but instead a small screen of the actual vid so you can still have ism on in the background and play the vid. You'll have seen loads of other guys post like this: including the news shows etc.

Should be simple - in the post reply/ edit section press the youtube button which is above the main writing area. this will bring up two sections of brackets, simply copy the url in the space between and delete everything except what is after the =
